Stone Gargoyle's Slumber Imperial Stout

Dark as the longest night and heavy as a blanket of snow on the roof, this wonderful creation is rich, roasty and made for slow savoring. It’s the result of taking our much acclaimed Stone Imperial Stout and laying it down in bourbon barrels for a year. It’s worth the wait, and possibly even more so if you can stand to set some aside for next year. Cocoa, coffee and roasted malt flavors are joined by complex wood, dark fruit and molasses notes, making this a perfectly decadent precursor to a long winter’s nap.
